2018 Liv Pique Advanced Women’s Bike Review

The Liv Pique Advanced Review:

Looking for a do-it-all bike to explore mountains and ride your local loops equally well?  The Liv Pique Advanced is your bike! Introduced to the Liv line last year, this year’s bike features increased travel fork to help slacken the front end and increases the overall wheelbase. The increased stability achieved allows the rider more confidence and control.

Isn’t this what we all are searching for? The more in control I am on the bike, the more I want to push my limits and ride harder terrain and travel to new places searching out the perfect trail. So, you could call the Liv Pique a dream sparker!

The Pique is Liv’s 120mm travel XC trail bike with 27.5″ wheels.

The 3F: Fit, Form and Function rules Liv’s dedication to the ladies as far as designing a rad ride.  Everything from geometry to colors, ladies specific touchpoints and even the way the carbon frame is constructed goes into each bike. Liv cares about every woman and how she will interact with her specific bike.  The company supports a great crew of Liv ambassadors, racers, explorers and educators with a family-like atmosphere surrounding any event they are attending.  You really have to see it to believe it.

Great attention to detail on the Pique Advanced from specific tuned Maestro suspension to downtube and chainstay protectors, Liv thinks of it all on this one.

Rockshox revelation fork with 130 mm of travel sets this bike up a little higher in the front and lengthens the wheelbase for 2018.

Liv’s smaller diameter grips with nice wide push lever for the house brand dropper post are comfortable and work well together.

Maestro suspension offers great pedaling efficiency.

2018 Liv Pique Advanced 2

The Liv Pique Advanced gets better every year. With a steep headtube angle and short travel suspension, it zips up climbs. There’s also great traction for the most technical ascents.  The bike is perfect for an XC ripper that still likes to have fun on the downhills and doesn’t shy away from technical terrain.
