The Yeti SB5.5 Review:
Yeti’s turquoise blue is easy to spot and undeniably the signature color of the Yeti brand out of Colorado. The smooth lines are polished and cleanly understated sexy. The Yeti SB 5.5 is a 140mm or 5.5″ rear travel bike loaded with a 160mm front fork. This set up suggests its most at home on the Enduro scene.
Yeti has an amazing group of women behind the development of the Yeti Beti Brand in Colorado. They offer the 27.5″ Yeti SB5 specifically for women riders (Yeti Beti SB5.) Check out Andi’s review of that bike here. The clothing line is designed around women that ride and demand highly technical and stylish riding gear. Stay tuned for the new 2018 gear test coming out on the website soon!

If you are more of a 29 fan (like me) the SB5.5 is a bike you are going to love. Love ain’t cheap, however! The fancy TURQ carbon version of the bike that was available for demo retails for $6599. A little too steep? Try the regular carbon version with XT/SLX build for $4999.
The Yeti SB5.5 offers 140mm (5.5″) of enduro smashing travel with 29″ wheels.

Here’s what Tricia thought about the Yeti SB 5.5:

The price tag on this bike is steep but worth it. This super stable 29er shrinks big bumps and makes you look differently at the trail. Searching for more creative ways to ride the trail is fun on this bike.
Yeti has a cult-like following, not just in Colorado, but worldwide and you’ve got to pay to play. Hang out at a Yeti Tribe Gathering and you’ll get it.

What about a smaller wheeled women’s version with 5″ of travel? The Yeti SB5 Beti is your best bet![/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
