The LR stands for LOW RIDER which is a code word for AWESOME.  This pack feels like a fanny pack on steroids with shoulder straps.  UHMMMM….well you know what I mean.  Its comfortable enough to carry the max bladder capacity of 3 Liters due to the brand new Crux LR reservoir. Offering more water per sip and distributing the weight low on the wide hip belt means greater stability and less weight on the shoulders.

Three separate zip pockets in the main compartment for phone, glasses, food, tools, raincoats, maps, arm warmers, rubber chickens….you name it and you can stuff it in here. The bright yellow internals of the largest compartment means its easier to find everything!

Camelbak LUXE LR 14
The LUXE LR 14 is so comfortable you won’t even want to take it off when you are sitting around like we were at the Roam Bike Fest!

The wide strap hip belt also features 2 side zip pockets for things you need in a hurry.  No need to take the pack off for a snack or quick multitool adjustment.  It would have been cool if our phone actually fit in these side zips, but they weren’t big enough for my Google phone.

Lot’s of Extras:

We really enjoyed the extras included in this pack.  The tool wrap, helmet securing straps and bright yellow rain cover all add great value to this pack.  You really can take this thing anywhere and everything stays nice and secure on your hips. The “airfoil” back panel is specially designed for a woman and helps with moisture transport.  It won’t sit like a wet sack on your back.

The Camelback LUXE LR 14 is a great pack, for all day adventures when you don’t want to forget a single thing.  Starting out on a long ride at 8 am and it’s a bit chilly, fine, wear the xtra layer.  This pack will carry it for you all day until you are done and the sun is setting. If you are looking for a hydration pack that is comfortable even when actually carrying water and all of the other things you need for a great ride, this pack is a great choice.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
