Are you ready to ride into a new season with comfort and style? This cool weather Pearl izumi gear will keep you warm and looking good on and off the bike.
Keeping cyclists warm with go-to pieces like knee, leg and arm warmers for years; Pearlizumi has branched out as of late with their Bikestyle line for Mountain Bikers. The Pearlizumi gear featured here are some of our favorites. It’s nice to keep warm while riding with technical fabrics and smart design.
Great thought has gone into how riders move on the bike, as well as being able to properly ventilate and access pockets with these pieces.
Versa Softshell Hoodie:

This hoodie comes in men’s and women’s versions with two colors for each. Men’s (not pictured) colors are black and Port/Arctic which is kind of like burgundy and a light sage green. The cool thing about this Bikestyle line is that you can wear all of it together, mixing and matching and never clash. The tones are earthy and super flattering.
This Softshell Hoodie is warm, soft, stretchy and offers a lot of room for your hands in the front pockets without looking like a kangaroo pouch. The full-zip front is easy to get started, even in a hurry with cold hands. The rear has a drop tail hem with a safety reflective strip so you can actually ride in it. There is also a rear big pocket with a side zipper that comes in handy for a phone, gloves, riding gear or keys to stash.
The best part about this jacket is the stretch cuffs at wrists with thumbhole cutouts to prevent the cold air from creeping up the sleeves.
Versa Quilted Hoodie:

The Versa Quilted Hoodie is like a warm hug on a dreary day.
It’s made to be just warm enough to be able to ride in without getting sweaty when the temperature hovers around 40 F. Load up on some base layers and you can go colder too. The quilted part of the torso adds heat and a little extra wind protection.

The rest of the jacket is well-tailored and super soft and flexible, like your favourite hoody. Internal cuffs in the sleeves where your hands pop out are brilliant! They even have a thumb hole if you really want to keep warm and avoid any updrafts.

Men’s Versa Pant:
With skinny jean styling and a nice stretch, water-resistant but soft on the inside fabric, these pants are a great idea. You’ll want to try these on especially if you have bulging quads. The legs were on the verge of being a little tighter than we like. If you are lucky enough to fit them these pants offer a cool style for riding.
The Gusseted crotch, belt loops and zipper secure pockets are all a plus. The front pockets tend to bunch and not lay flat when zippered and just look strange if unzipped. Perhaps left for bike packing or commuting, the Versa pant does not really have functional pockets and is just too tight in the legs for our reviewer.

We’ve been thoroughly impressed with Pearl iZUMi’s cool weather gear and highly recommend if you’re in need of great functionality and cool casual styling.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
