Pisgah Ibis Migration

Ibis Migration #4- Pisgah National Forest

This October a group of mountain bikers got together in Pisgah National Forest to celebrate all things great at the Ibis Migration. This was the fourth instalment of these gatherings designed to have an intimate relationship with the Ibis brand.  Founder, Scot Nicol personally attends each of the Migrations. The idea is to keep them small and pack them with great riding, eating, drinking and experiences that support Ibis Cycles passion for mountain biking. It is this connected community that drives his brand to continually make amazing bikes to bring out in the woods for adventures!

North Carolina holds the distinction for hosting the first east coast Ibis Migration

because the trails in Pisgah are bad-ass!

The stars all aligned this fall to bring together some amazing partners including Crankjoy, Oskar Blues, Pilot Cove, Kleen Canteen, Industry Nine, Honey Stinger, Pisgah Coffee Roasters, Brevard Yoga, Wild Indigo Catering, Reeb Ranch, Squatch Bikes and Brews and RedWolf Mountain Bike Tours.  The party that took place was non-stop action.  Ibis Migration participants were allowed to ride their own bikes (if they were Ibis’ :}) or choose from a packed demo fleet served up by none other than the east coast Ibis demo guru – Harry.

Great collection of memories. Can’t wait for next year (hopefully). Next time they need to give out those ‘Harden the Fuck Up’ top caps. Perfect motivation on grinding climbs.
