Interbike Las Vegas

Interbike 2017: Burley, Ergon, Alchemy – FAREWELL LAS VEGAS!

The 2017 Interbike tradeshow marks the last time the show will be in Vegas.  As much as people love to complain about Las Vegas it does have its pluses that other cities may not.  Cheap flights, a convention center with enough walking distance hotel rooms and loads of nighttime entertainment are a few.  The 2018 edition is moving to Reno and the Outdoor demo will be at Northstar Resort.  We’re looking forward to the fresh new venue.  Enough about that let’s move on to the cool product!

The new Burley Coho trailer has some super interesting features.  At the top of the list it has an axle system that will work with virtually all rear end sizes, whether it be boost, 15mm qr or the old-fashioned 9mm qr.

The beauty of the Coho with the ability to work with the gammot of bike rear axle systems.

Why carry that 200+ gram tube around when you can lose a 1/4 pound from your ride with this new one from Tubolito?

Ergon Tubes
Why not take it a little further and go with a 50 gram tube with a removable valve for ultra easy stashing?

Ergon GA2 Fat
Our favorite grip from Ergon bulks up – more cushion for the pushn’….into the corners.

We know many people with larger hands that loved the original version of this grip that will be happy to see this.

Ergon GE1
This is one good looking grip that I can’t wait to try out. Looks like a lot of grip there!

Best Bike in Show:  Alchemy Arktos Custom

Alchemy is a brand we are watching closely.  We haven’t had the opportunity to ride one yet, but he Arktos is one sweet looking rig.  Rumors are that a new 29er will be hitting the ground soon.

Alchemy Arktos Custom
Custom painted fork, including crown and hubs. BTW, the fork graphics are painted on as well – no decals!

Well, that’s a wrap, folks.   We enjoyed our past 15 years of Las Vegas.  Next year we’ll be coming at ya from Reno. Until next time Vegas![/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
