The Juliana Furtado Review:
The Juliana Furtado is named after Juli, the inspiration behind the entire line of Juliana Bikes. Way back in the 1990’s Juliana Furtado was THE winningest bike racer in the US- man or woman! She was at the top of every podium, taking 3 World Championships in XC and Downhill. That would be unheard of today.
In 1999 Santa Cruz started making bikes with Juliana’s name on them and ever since, the brand is notorious for quality, high-end bikes for women. The Furtado is no exception.

Juliana is always on point with graphics, colors that standout as well as their amazing builds. The demo was set up with SRAM XO1 Eagle 12 speed, which is hard not to enjoy. It was especially nice to grind up the steeper climb in Sedona while keeping plenty of traction over dusty, loose terrain.
The lady touch points including the Juliana Primerio saddle and lock on grips were super comfortable. The matte blue raspberry was a color not seen on a bike until now and it really stands out, demanding attention. With 5 build options ranging in price from $3899-7999 the Juliana Furtado allows everyone to get what they want in a bike!
Here’s What tester Andi Zolton thought of the Juliana Furtado:
