Racing mountain bikes in Moab is definitely Epic if you team up with the Transrockies crew for their spring fling in the desert. This 3-day stage race averages 25-30 miles and approximately 3000′ elevation gain and loss each day offering quite a challenge.

What Trails are featured in Moab Rocks?
- Porcupine Rim, UPS and LPS are included in Day 1 after a long grin up Sand Flats Rd from town
- Day 2 features Dino Flow, Little Salty, Baby Steps, Mega Steps and UFO
- Last day includes Great Escape, Bull Run, Little Canyon, 7-up, Getaway and Arths Corner (Mag 7 system)

Whether you’ve been to Moab before or not, it’s hard to beat! Especially in the spring. There is something magical about the place, especially during an event like this. Getting to hang out with 200 mountain bikers all chasing the same goal, to finish the course as quickly as possible each day, is pretty special.

This year you can join pro men Geoff Kabush (last years winner,) Rotem Ishay, Josiah Middaugh, Kris Sneddon and others contesting for this early season podium. The women’s open class will feature the fast ladies Jennifer Smith, Sparky Moir Sears and KC Holly (past winner) and many other worthy contenders.
