The Roam Bike Fest West is coming up this weekend. This is such an amazing opportunity to meet so many great ladies that love to ride mountain bikes! If you were at the Inaugural Roam Bike Fest West last year or the Right Coast Version this spring- you have some idea of what I am talking about.
Last year we here at Crankjoy.com did an extensive bike/gear testing review during the event in Sedona. This year we are making it our personal mission to meet every single person at the festival, and make more new friends.
This festival is about friendship, camaraderie and togetherness! There are no cool kids here! In fact, we are all cool kids! Ladies that ride are a special kind of fun.
Below is a primer to read before heading to the festival. Think of it as an early introduction to a small fraction of the awesome ladies that will be at Roam Bike Fest West. I figured this would save you tons of time so you can jam-pack the weekend. You’ll feel like you already know everyone or at least can pick them out of the crowd.
It should go something like this: “Hey Andi, my name is _____ we met on Crankjoy.com- now lets dance, I hear you have a sick WORM!” or “Hi, Sarah, thanks for making those baller I-9 wheels for my new ride! Let’s go ride!”

So there it is! This is just a very small sampling of all of the amazing women that will be shredding in the desert in Sedona. Katie Holden and Sturdy Bitch Racing will be there, along with Kelli Emmett with Julianna, and Sarah Viggers with Specialized. There are also some surprise attendees we are not allowed to mention- but they are a BIG BIG deal! And super awesome peeps to boot!
A successful event means we can have more! And more women on bikes is amazing. So, be sure to demo, ride and shmooze to your heart’s content. Let these influential women in the bike industry know exactly WHAT YOU WANT. They are literally there for you! Tell them what you like and what you don’t like with regards to mountain biking.
