Sea Otter Day 2 – Ladies in the HOUZE!

Day 2 proved to be another exciting day here at the Sea Otter Classic.  One thing is for sure.  The ladies have hit the worlds biggest bike festival this year in full force.  It seems that the ladies are doing more and more for the industry and we chatted with a few today that are helping to build their brands, in marketing, racing and sales.

A few companies are using slightly outdated tactics, that may or may not work in luring men to their booths.  Being a woman who rides, I was pretty put off and almost offended by the 20 year old girls “hired” for the day to wear short shorts and tight shirts.  I feel like there are plenty of qualified ladies that would love the opportunity to help these brands build real stoke and POSSIBLY even inspire women to come into their booths.   Companies are starting to catch on, but many are still just dude fests that us ladies just don’t feel comfortable around.

I didn’t see Liv or Juliana hire any 20 year old hot, oiled and half naked guys to lure women into their booths this year.

I think we ladies are way too smart for that – (or are we?)
