Last week a super satisfying project came to fruition. After many nights sorting through maps and GPX uploads, a full route traversing the Wasatch mountains from Sundance Resort near Timpanogos Mountain to Ben Lomond Peak in North Ogden, Utah, became an idea for an epic 3-day trip. The route previous to now had only lived in the mind of Crankjoy contributor Brent Pontius, who lives along the route. Many of the trails he has ridden before, but never strung in one long line along these mountain tops leading to his back door.
This type of trip is exactly the inspiration Crankjoy is about, so when Brent asked us to take part in this amazing adventure, we jumped at the opportunity. What follows are a few images of the more than 140 miles and 25,000+ ft of climbing over the awesome journey. The full story with maps and trail descriptions as well as other insights into planning your backyard adventure will follow soon.
